I’m Steffanie, a graphic designer and website developer from the Netherlands with a passion for storytelling, photography, and illustration. For the past decade, my rescue pup Olive and I have explored over 35 countries together. After calling Budapest home for the last four years, I’ve returned to my roots in Alkmaar.
As we settle back into Dutch life, our journey is evolving. While our hearts still beat for gastronomy and art, we are embracing a slower pace, shifting our focus toward lifestyle, home, and the cozy corners of everyday life.
There’s also a very special addition on the way: we are expecting a little son this August, who will undoubtedly bring a whole new perspective to our stories. After a two-year social media break, we’ve returned with a renewed vision: sharing not just places, but the stories behind them: Artisans, hidden corners, and the quiet magic of living curiously, kindly, and now, a little more "home-grown."
